All of us here at Ivins enjoy the outdoors, we love to go riding whether it be a dirtbike or an ATV. We love to go trail riding, and riding the bowls
of the dunes. We know that to enjoy riding you have to be safe, because no one wants to take a trip to the hospital. Here are a few tips for safety, to
make sure your trip is enjoyable.
- Always wear approved safety gear.
- In Desert areas always use an approved Whip Flag.
- Remember that Alcohol, Drugs and riding never mix.
- Never ride alone.
- Younger riders should always have adult supervision.
- Never ride beyond you, or your machines ability.
- Always familiarize yourself with the terrain and the surrounding area.
- Always use a spotter when you are jumping.
- If you have to park in the dunes, always park at a high point for visibilty.
- Always make sure someone knows where you are going and when you will return.
- Always carry a First Aid kit.
- Always carry extra water.
- Always carry a tow strap.
- Always carry a cellphone.
Always respect the land. Remember that you will always want to have riding areas.
