Hardware Ranch

Hardware Ranch is managed and operated by the Division of Wildlife Resources. Hardware Ranch is a wintering ground for a herd of Elk. There is a warm spacious Visitor Center, restaurant, heated restrooms, vending machines, and information. Because this is a home of elk herds, you must stay on the designated trails.

There are around 185 miles of groomed snowmobile trails that wind through the middle of Wasatch-Cache National Forest in Weber, Cache, and Rich counties. There are several side trails that join the groomed trail complex. Some of the side trails may be rough, and the snow conditions are often unpredictable.

Hardware Ranch is located on highway 101 fifteen miles east of Hyrum Utah.
