UTAH
Hardware Ranch
Hardware Ranch is managed and operated by the Division of Wildlife Resources. Hardware Ranch is a wintering ground for a herd of
Elk. There is a warm spacious Visitor Center, restaurant, heated restrooms, vending machines, and information. Because this is a
home of elk herds, you must stay on the designated trails.
There are around 185 miles of groomed snowmobile trails that wind through the middle of Wasatch-Cache National Forest in Weber, Cache,
and Rich counties. There are several side trails that join the groomed trail complex. Some of the side trails may be rough, and the
snow conditions are often unpredictable.
Hardware Ranch is located on highway 101 fifteen miles east of Hyrum Utah.
Wasatch Mountain State Park
Wasatch Mountain State Park is Utah's most complete snowmobile facilty. The park provides facilities near Midway, Park City, and
American Fork. The facilities include parking, restrooms, designated play areas, and approximately 70 miles of mainained trails. There
are warming stations available at the golf course clubhouse, and the Visitor Center.
Mirror Lake/Currant Creek
The Mirror Lake, and Currant Creek Snowmobile Complex has some of the best snowmobiling opportunities in Utah, with more than 150 miles
of groomed trails. The complex traverses many different areas in the High Uintas. The complex is just over an hours drive from
Salt Lake City. Once you get there you can unload your sled and head out on four trail heads. There is Soapstone, Woodland, Lake
Creek, and Strawberry. The complex is about 14 miles away from Kamas Utah
